2008-09-18 IFC e Document Management System Compliant Toward FDA 21 CFR Part 11
We will enhance our IFC e Document Management System (eDMS) with several security features in order to be compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Some of the changes including 1) Use of secure, computer-generated, time-stamped audit trails 2) Employ at least two distinct identification components such as an identification code and password 3) The locking out of user names that fail consecutive logins 4) Revision control feature to keep all the versions of the record/document without overwriting previous record. This will make us become few of the software vendors within the region that is compliant with the electronics signature standard of FDA.

We have enhanced our IFC e Document Management System (eDMS) with Read / Un-read document indicator and history. This means the system will keep track of when and which documents have been read by particular users. This will improve the traceability of the system in term of user access.

We have provided an add-on for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) support for our IFC e Document Management System (eDMS). This means the user now could directly convert the PDF or graphic attachment into a searchable content. This feature will save user tremendous of time since currently it is a very tedious job for user to search a keyword inside the attachment.
